Studio Ghibli dikenal sebagai salah satu penghasil film anime terbaik yang tidak hanya mampu memikat fans anime saja tapi juga memikat masyarakt umum dan berhasil merajai box office Jepang meskipun film terbaru Ghibli yang berjudul When Marnie Was There mengalami kegagalan di box office.
